Once called “the most prolific actor in Colorado theatre” by arts journalist John Moore, Emily has built a career defined by artistic range, longevity, and leadership. She has received numerous awards for excellence in acting, including three True West Awards (2017, 2018, 2023), two On Stage Colorado Awards (2023), and a Henry Award (2023). Her performance credits include multiple productions with the DCPA Theatre Company and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, including six seasons with the Black Box Repertory Company. At Arvada, she also directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2020) and coached voice and singing for productions including Sylvia, Our Town, and The Drowning Girls. Additionally, Emily has spent four seasons with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, two seasons with Little Theatre of the Rockies, and ten seasons over fourteen years at Creede Repertory Theatre, where she has appeared in over twenty productions, served as a playwright and director for CRT’s KID Show program, and directed multiple main stage productions, most recently Xanadu for CRT’s 60th Anniversary season. Emily is honored to serve as Creede Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director and Interim Managing Director, providing continuity in both artistic vision and organizational leadership during a period of transition, and remains deeply committed to supporting artists, telling bold stories, and sustaining CRT’s legacy as a vital and adventurous rural theatre.

This is Mallory’s first season with CRT. Before joining the company, she worked at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland, Oregon, for 27 seasons in various leadership roles, including Director of Membership, Director of Development, and Director of Marketing and Communications. Before joining the company at OSF, she worked in Washington, DC, at Washington Project for the Arts, Arena Stage, and Very Special Arts, an educational adjunct to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. A seasoned theatre administrator, she is honored to bring her passion and expertise to a company she has long admired as both a colleague and an audience member. She holds a BA in Theatre Management from the University of Maryland.

Jenni is grateful and humbled to be leading Team Education at CRT! She is a teaching artist, actor, and director who earned her M.F.A. at Northern Illinois University (which included a summer intensive at the Moscow Art Theatre). She has taught Theatre for the University of West Georgia, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Hardin-Simmons University, Young Audiences of Abilene, and the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature before finding her artistic home at Creede Rep and the Creede School District. She is passionate about creating access to arts education for all learners and introducing new students to Shakespeare.

Kate first found CRT as a member of the acting company in 2005 and has been a full-time staff member since 2018. She is a multi-faceted actor, director, and administrator now focused on marketing and communications. Kate is inspired by Creede’s remoteness and artistry and continues to share it with the world. As an actor, Colorado credits include roles at The Arvada Center, Theatreworks Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Theatre, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Theatre SilCo (formerly Lake Dillon Theatre Company), and Curious Theatre Company. Favorite roles at CRT include Williamina Fleming in Silent Sky, Eliza in The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence, and Sherlock Holmes in Miss Holmes. Member of the Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.

This is Jake’s fifth season working as CRT’s Director of Production and Facilities, and 16th season working with Creede Rep! He is an accomplished Sound & Scenic Designer, Music Composer, and Technical Director. He has worked for many prominent theatres in the Denver and Atlanta areas as a freelance Sound Designer. Jake has 12 years of university experience teaching classes ranging from Sound & Light Design, Scenic Design, Technical Direction, Stage Management as well as carpentry and welding. He holds his MFA in Technical Direction from Northern Illinois University. He is thrilled to call Creede his home with his lovely wife, Jenni, and mostly good pup, Watson.

Meghan is thrilled to be a part of Team Education! She’s been involved in education for nearly a decade, working both as a teacher and with children’s theatre. She worked as a stage manager in Houston before finding CRT in 2023 for the Young Audience Outreach Tour. This will be her fourth season with CRT! Following YAOT, she became heavily involved in the Creede community and CRT Education, working numerous on and off-season education camps and events. She believes “theatre magic” comes directly from children’s theatre: watching the students’ hard work come together to create something beautifully unique is the closest you can get to real, genuine magic. She’s honored to be a part of something so special.

Bethany has worked with Creede Repertory Theatre since 2012. She has served in a number of capacities over the years, including choreographer for The Fantasticks, which earned her the Best Choreography award from Onstage Colorado. Other choreography credits include: City Dog & The Prairie Dog, Casa Alfonsa, El Guayabo / The Guava Tree, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Wizard of Oz. Acting credits include: performer in Boomtown!, Greta in General Store, Cookie in Ghostlight, Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town, and more. In addition to CRT, she has also worked at Arvada Center for the Arts, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Vintage Theatre, and Beck Center for the Arts.

Sammy is overjoyed to be continuing his fourth season at CRT. Sammy is originally from the cranberry town of Middleborough, Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Miami in 2024 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Management and B.A. in Global Health Studies. Sammy has worked on the Patron Services Team for several regional theaters including Gablestage and the Weston Theater Company before joining CRT as a seasonal House Manager in 2023. He is a deep believer in the importance of small non-profit theaters in communities like Creede and is incredibly grateful to be a part of the Creede Community. He is thrilled to be welcoming our patrons and donors back for the 61st season.

Adam is a seasoned theatre professional and arts leader, currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. With over 20 years of experience as a director, choreographer, educator, and performer, Adam brings a unique blend of artistic vision and operational expertise to his leadership. A proud AEA member and graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, he has directed and choreographed over 20 musicals nationwide and managed production budgets up to $250,000. His work spans regional theatres, educational institutions, and original musical development. Adam’s background in arts education and nonprofit management informs his collaborative, mission-driven approach to theatre-making, ensuring both creative excellence and organizational sustainability.
