Once downtown, explore the many shops, restaurants, galleries, and views in our unique mountain town.

Enjoy everything from the casual vibe at Kip’s Grill or Tommyknocker Tavern to fine dining at The Creede Hotel & Restaurant, or Antlers Riverside Restaurant.
Imagine
Every summer since 1966, Creede Repertory Theatre has performed shows in rotating repertory. You can see up to five different shows in one weekend!

Catch a Show!
We don’t just perform at night. Creede Rep offers matinees several days a week. Catch the hilarious whodunnit, Clue: On Stage by Sandy Rustin.
Want more drama? Catch The Royale by Marco Ramirez. Creede Rep performs in two different spaces within two blocks of each other.
The historic Mainstage Theatre, and the Ruth Humphreys Brown Theatre which opened in 2011.
DAY 3
Hike
Creede is nestled in 97% National Forest! Stop by the forest ranger station at 3rd and Main Street or San Juan Sports for a variety of hikes right out your back door! If you want to stay close to town, we recommend the Up-and-Over, which takes you to the beautiful spires above downtown. You can find the trailhead in the parking lot east of Downstream Gas & Mercantile.
Art
Creede might have more galleries per capita than any other city as well as being home to internationally acclaimed watercolor artist, Stephen Quiller. Long live the arts in Creede!
Sweet Music
Another day, another show. Round out your trip with romantic comedy Dear Jack, Dear Louise by Ken Ludwig, or the stunning World Premiere production of Mountain Octopus by Beth Kander.
