Getting Here

From the Denver Area:

Option 1: Take US-285 South to Center, CO. Turn right on CO-112 to Del Norte, CO. Turn right on US-160 West when you reach Del Norte. When you reach South Fork, CO, take a slight right on to CO-149, which will take you into Creede.

Option 2: Take I-25 South to Walsenburg, CO. Take Exit 50 for US-160 West. In Walsenburg, follow signs to US-160 West. Take this highway all the way to South Fork, CO. When you reach South Fork, CO, take a slight right on to CO-149, which will take you into Creede.

From Santa Fe, NM:

Take US-285 North to Alamosa, CO. Turn Left on to Main Street, which is also US-160 West. When you reach South Fork, CO, take a slight right on to CO-149, which will take you into Creede.

From Durango, CO:

Take US-160 East through Pagosa Springs, over Wolf Creek Pass. When you reach South Fork, CO, take a slight left onto CO-149, which will take you into Creede.

I’m in Creede! Now what?

Follow CO-149 into town. Turn left at the gas station (there’s just one, Downstream Gas & Mercantile). You’ll immediately go over a very small bridge. Turn right at the intersection. This is Main Street. Follow Main Street North toward the canyon. You’ll pass our new second venue, The Ruth Humphreys Brown Theatre on your right. It has a yellow facade with artfully rusted siding. A few blocks later, you’ll come to our Mainstage Theatre at the North end of Main Street on the right.

Parking

Free street parking is available in most areas in Creede. In addition to Main Street itself, there are often places to park on Loma Street, in front of our scenic cliffs.

The nearest airport is in Alamosa, CO, which is served by United Express/SkyWest Airlines.
