Once called “the most prolific actor in Colorado theatre” by John Moore, renowned Arts Journalist of the Denver Gazette, Emily has won numerous awards for excellence in acting, including three True West Awards (2017, 2018, 2023), two On Stage Colorado Awards (2023), and one Henry Award (2023). Other credits include Emma, The Wild Party, and A Christmas Carol with the DCPA Theatre Company, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (as Carole King) and 6 seasons with the Black Box Repertory Company at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, where she has also directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2020), and coached voice and singing techniques for several productions including Sylvia, Our Town, and The Drowning Girls. Emily also maintains a thriving private voice studio for students of all ages and skill levels. In addition, she has spent 4 seasons with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, 2 seasons with Little Theatre of the Rockies, and 8 seasons over 12 years in more than 20 roles at the Creede Repertory Theatre. She also directed one of CRT’s most successful musicals to date, The Wizard of Oz (2018). She is honored and delighted to be Creede Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director.

Morgan joined CRT as Managing Director in January 2020. In her time in Creede, Morgan has enjoyed immersing herself in the community and serving on the Boards of the Creede Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Preschool Program for the Creede Early Learning Center, and the Silver Thread Byway. She brings to CRT over a decade of non-profit theatre experience, including serving as the Production Manager of American Family Theatre in Philadelphia, PA; the Company Manager and Associate General Manager of Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA; and the Associate General Manager at McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, NJ. She has actively participated in the League of Resident Theatres and was a member of TCG’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Institute Cohort 2. Originally from Fresno, CA (where the raisins come from), Morgan holds a BA in Theatre from CSU Sacramento and owes her career to the amazing visual and performing arts programs of Clovis Unified School District where she attended K-12. Morgan met her husband Tyler while they were CRT company members together in 2011; the pair have a rambunctious 4-year-old and a menagerie of furry critters.

Jenni is grateful and humbled to be leading Team Education at CRT! She is a teaching artist, actor, and director who earned her M.F.A. at Northern Illinois University (which included a summer intensive at the Moscow Art Theatre). She has taught Theatre for the University of West Georgia, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Hardin-Simmons University, Young Audiences of Abilene, and the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature before finding her artistic home at Creede Rep and the Creede School District. She is passionate about creating access to arts education for all learners and introducing new students to Shakespeare.

Kate first found CRT as a member of the acting company in 2005 and is now in her seventh year as a full-time staff member. She is a multi-faceted actor, director, and administrator currently overseeing both artistic and marketing departments. Kate is inspired by Creede’s remoteness, uniqueness, and artistry; she wants to share it with the world. As an actor, her Colorado credits include: Arvada Center (The Lion in Winter, The Importance of Being Earnest, Blithe Spirit), Theatreworks (Wild Honey, The Seagull, Psycho Beach Party), Colorado Springs Fine Arts Theatre (Other Desert Cites), Colorado Shakespeare Festival (Twelfth Night), Lake Dillon Theatre Company (Dancing Lessons), and Curious Theatre Company (Charles Ives Take Me Home). Favorite roles at CRT include Elsa in The Road to Mecca, Eliza in The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence, and Sherlock Holmes in Miss Holmes. She has directed for Creede Repertory Theatre and Colorado Shakespeare Festival. Member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.

This is Jake’s third season working as CRT’s Director of Production, his 14th season working with the company! He is an accomplished Sound & Scenic Designer, Music Composer, and Technical Director. He has worked for many prominent theatres in the Denver and Atlanta areas as a freelance Sound Designer. Jake has 12 years of university experience teaching classes ranging from Sound & Light Design, Scenic Design, Technical Direction, Stage Managment as well as carpentry and welding. He holds his MFA in Technical Direction from Northern Illinois University. He is thrilled to call Creede his home with his lovely wife, Jenni, and mostly good pup, Watson.

This is Bethany’s 13th season with the Creede Repertory Theatre. She has served in a number of capacities over the years, including as choreographer for City Dog & The Praire Dog, Casa Alfonsa, El Guayabo / The Guava Tree, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Wizard of Oz; playwright/director/choreographer for The Tree Watcher; and onstage as Greta in General Store, Cookie in Ghostlight, Rebecca Gibbs in Our Town, a Hot Box Dancer in Guys & Dolls, and more. A special thank you to Graham, Edie, Eilean, and CRT for their commitment to parent artists.

Tyler is honored to be a part of Team Education! He hails from Bucks County, PA and received a BA in Theatre from Temple University in Philadelphia and an MFA from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Tyler has acted professionally across the country with a focus on new work and theatre for young audiences. In his hometown, he served for many years as the technical director of the high school theatre program and director of the middle school program for New Hope Solebury School District. Tyler’s journey with Creede Rep began in 2010 as a summer acting company member and YAOT performer; and over the past thirteen years he has directed The KID Show and YAOT, taught camps, been on stage, back stage, on tour, and on team facilities. He is thrilled to join the CRT Staff and students in this next chapter of their stories with Creede Rep!
