Camps

FUN FRIDAYS

What are Fun Fridays?:

Fun Fridays are a collaboration between multiple Creede organizations to provide engaging activities for students when school is not in session! Every Friday will have an activity led by Creede Repertory Theatre teaching artists, an activity led by Creede Parks and Rec Americorps Members, free play, lunch and snacks. Children ages 3 and up may attend. There is fun to be had for all ages! Fun Fridays are from 9 AM-3 PM at the Rec Center (Pre-care from 8 AM-9 AM available if needed. Contact the Rec Center for more information).

Cost is $10 per child. Lunch and Snacks are included! Please reach out if you require financial assistance.

Goals:

The purpose of Fun Fridays are to provide students with a safe environment on days when they do not have school. The four-day school schedule often makes finding positive and affordable opportunities for students challenging, and when parents and guardians are working full-time, they are not always able to secure activities for their students to participate in. Fun Fridays provide a resource for the families in our communities while helping our youth develop essential skills such as creativity, collaboration and critical-thinking.
