Work at CRT

Creede Repertory Theatre is a professional company located in southwest Colorado high in the Rocky Mountains. The Denver Post has named CRT as “among the top five theatres in the state,” USA Today has called CRT “one of the top ten theatres to see the lights way off Broadway”, and the National Theatre Conference gave CRT the Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2007. When you’re part of the CRT company, you will have the opportunity to work with other professionals from across the country in a true rotating repertory setting.

We produce seven to ten productions of diverse styles each season including musicals, comedies, dramas, classics, children’s theatre, improv, new works, and touring productions. Most company members are contracted from mid-May through the end of August with some contracts running into the end of September. Our Young Audience Outreach Tour is contracted from early August and runs into November.

Managing Director

The Managing Director (MD) leads the financial and daily operational activities of Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT). The MD will partner with the Producing Artistic Director (PAD) to develop a strategic plan to ensure the fiscal health of CRT. The MD is responsible for all facets of CRT’s Human Resources Department. The MD will work with the Development Manager to establish strong relations with CRT’s stakeholders including the Board of Trustees, Donors, Patrons and the Creede Community at large. The MD will participate in CRT’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion efforts. The MD will join a structure that presently has three direct reports: Marketing, Company Management, and Front of House. The MD reports to the PAD.
