“I feel very lucky to have found a place that felt like home right out of school. I’ve done shows here that changed my life, shows that taught me who I am and how I should choose to live. There have even been one or two shows that made me cringe every time they called places. I’m grateful for every moment of it.”
– Graham Ward, Company Member 2011-2020
There are plenty of ways you can support CRT-whether to keep our current productions running, or to increase the impact of our future programming. You can make a difference through Individual Giving, planning a Future Contribution, donating to our Endowment Fund, or as part of your everyday Amazon Shopping. However you choose to participate, we’re grateful for your investment in the important work we do. Giving at any level enables CRT to create innovative productions, offer exciting education programs, and continue to be the economic engine for our community.
As a non-profit, nearly 50 percent of our operating budget comes from donor contributions. When you give to the CRT, you play an important role in bringing our artistic dreams and exceptional education programs to life.
Individual Giving: Make a charitable gift to CRT that we can put where it is most needed, making professional theatre in the San Juan Mountains possible. You can even make a donation in honor or memorial to acknowledge and celebrate a loved one. It is easy to donate online or send a check to CRT!
Corporate Giving: CRT is proud to be supported by so many local businesses. You can give back to the community by supporting the arts we produce here – sponsor a show today! Many companies also sponsor matching programs to give to the nonprofits their employees love. Check with your employer today to see if your gift is eligible!
Restricted Gifts: You get to decide where your gift goes. Education? Headwaters New Play Program? New curtains for the mainstage? Rehearsal room improvements? You choose!
Endowment Gift: Creede Repertory Theatre’s endowment fund is designed to provide a resource that will help the theatre thrive for years to come. We invite you to join us in this effort of building a long-term refuge for the family that has been there for us since day one.
Planned Giving: Take the next step in supporting CRT, join the Legacy Circle and secure artistic excellence for future generations.
Arranging a planned gift with Creede Repertory Theatre may provide tax advantages for your estate while allowing you to share your passion for live theater. CRT suggests that you consult your attorney or financial advisor to arrange a planned gift through a bequest, life insurance, annuities, trusts, IRAs or other planned giving arrangements.
Planned Gifts may be made to Creede Repertory Theatre, Inc. You can make a gift to Creede Repertory Theatre in your estate by using the following language: “I hereby give and bequeath to Creede Repertory Theatre, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation in Creede, CO (specific amount, percentage of estate, or specific property) for general purposes.”
Enterprise Zone: In order to encourage support from individuals and businesses, the State of Colorado offers those who make a gift to the CRT a 25% tax credit on every donation of $100 or more. Contact the Development Office with any questions about Enterprise Zone at (719) 658-5420 ext. 231.
